Isle of Palms 2013

We went to Isle of Palms a couple weeks ago with the Clancy family (Michael's mom's side). There are 33 of us, including six kids, all of which are 2 and under! It was definitely challenging with a 2 month old and a 2 year old this year. But, it was all worth it since Patrick had a blast! I didn't leave the house the entire week, which was fine with me! There is a pool and the ocean is only a few feet away. What else do you need? Each family cooks for a night, so it is really nice not to have to worry about cooking except for one night. Unfortunately, I didn't take many pictures but I did capture a few moments!

Memorial Day fun hanging outside with the boys and playing basketball

Making animal noises with Uncle Matthew. This picture is Patrick making a whale noise and face

Patrick thinks Uncle Matthew is so funny!

Peyton watched the boys play basketball outside

Hanging outside with Michael

We tried to get a picture with the great grandchildren and Mamaw and Papaw but it didn't go well. All of the children except Peyton were crying. The great grandchildren are Dash (2.5 years), Patrick (2), Avery (1), Harper (1), Addie (4 months), and Peyton (2 months).

Five children screaming all at once and sweet little Peyton just sat there!

Our best attempt at a family picture!

Ignore the sling. Peyton enjoys napping with Michael :)

Patrick had a lot of fun swimming with his uncles and daddy

One day both of the boys napped at the same time! Yay for 30 minutes of sunbathing for mom!

Peyton's first time on the beach! Love that smile! Hate that my camera fogged up for this precious moment!

Patrick never goes anywhere without a Choo Choo!

Patrick had the time of his life, swimming every day with Michael and jumping in the "puddles" on the beach in the late afternoon. It was such a fun week at the beach, but I was glad to get back to our normal routine at home!
