Easter Weekend

The boys had Good Friday off and it was a really stormy day so we had a fun time playing at home.

Conor and I cuddled while the boys played nicely together. The boys rarely play nicely together for more than a few minutes, so I took full advantage of sitting there with my sweet little baby

Later in the day there was strong lightning, thunder and tornado sirens that scared the boys, so we all climbed in bed and cuddled. Love these precious little boys

After the storms faded a little we headed over to Nana and Grumps for pizza making and egg decorating. Both of the boys were really into decorating the eggs this year.

Peyton loved dipping his hands in the dye and was covered with dye by the end of the night

Multi-colored eggs

Patrick and Harper decorated Nana's shirt with the stickers

On Saturday Patrick and Harper went to an egg hunt with Nana. Peyton was a little under the weather and was at the doctor, so he missed out this year

Matt and Mark (or the Godfathers as they like to be called) went to the egg hunt with the boys too

The Easter bunny wasn't prepared this year, so it was a little hectic getting the Easter baskets ready. Maybe next year the Easter bunny will be on top of his game! It also didn't help that the dogs got out for 6 hours on Saturday night!

The boys Easter baskets. Looks like the Easter bunny was generous this year! Either that or the Easter bunny was in such a hurry at the store that he/she grabbed everything he/she could find very quickly :)

Then we headed to 9am mass and to Nana and Grumps for brunch afterwards.

Time for the Easter egg hunt. The boys were ready!

Precious little Peyton was so excited!

Hunting eggs

Matthew and Mark hid the eggs, but I think they must have forgotten their target audience' height

Peyton had a little help finding the golden egg

So excited about how many eggs they found!

This precious face! He needs to stop growing!

After the little boys had their egg hunt the parents had an egg toss

The peanut gallery

Michael and I came in second. I caught the egg but it broke against my knee when I bent down to catch it :(

Megan and Mark won

Peyton was exhausted after all the morning activities, so he took a nap while Patrick, Conor and I went to Belle Meade with my parents for another Easter egg hunt. Patrick enjoyed meeting the Easter bunny

Petting the bunny

Then Allie and Patrick hunted some eggs at her house. Patrick got the eggs all to himself!

Goofing around after all the days activities

And one last picture of this cutie!

So thankful for this precious little family of mine!
