Mulloy Disney Trip 2016 (Part 3)

We headed to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party around 5 pm. We were late for the first two parties, so it was fun to walk in and get some Christmas cookies and see all of the Christmas cheer already started!

Patrick was really into meeting the characters this year and since there are a lot of rare character out for the Christmas Party we decided we would try and meet a lot of characters and fill up his book. Nick and Judy Hopps were new to the party this year.  We had heard that they start meeting before the party begins since they are so popular, so we headed there first.

The boys had fun playing with their lights that Chippy brought them.

The big boys and I rode the peoplemover while Michael (and a sleeping Conor) waited in line to meet Nick and Judy. As soon as we got off the ride it was our turn to meet so we timed it pretty perfectly!

The boys were SO excited when it was their turn!

It's hard to tell in the picture, but Peyton said he had carrots in his cheeks like a bunny does and puffed them out. He was sooo cute!

After meeting Nick and Judy, we booked it over to Adventureland to meet Alladin, Abu, Jasmine and the Genie. We have tried to meet them the past 2 years, but the Genie has always been absent on the night we attended. Both the big boys fell asleep on the way to the meet and greet at 6:45pm!

We knew Patrick would want to meet them, so we woke him up and got in line for Alladin and Abu. They rotate every 30 minutes with Jasmine and Genie and we ended up timing it perfectly. We were the last in line to meet Jasmine and Genie before they changed back to Alladin and Abu. I was terrified we would stand in line for 30 minutes and then have to meet Alladin and Abu again!

Since Peyton was still sleeping we headed over to meet Belle. She meets in her blue cape for the Christmas party, which is pretty rare.

Then we headed over to Dumbo. The boys were dying to play on the playground, but they had it closed for the Christmas party. I think we rode Dumbo like 5 times in a row!

Clearly Peyton cannot contain his excitement :)

This little guy loved Dumbo although he was not loving pictures

Next we headed for another ride on Winnie the Pooh.

Next up was the Carousel. Conor hated it and screamed the ENTIRE time, Peyton clearly loved it, and Patrick thought it was boring :)

Peyton didn't want to wait in the 10 minute line for Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder, so we hung outside and waited on him. While we were waiting, the Holiday Wishes Fireworks went off. They were just gorgeous. We were right in the middle, so it was hard to see the full view. We had to keep turning around and turning back, since the fireworks go off in two different places.

The castle looks so pretty lit up

Meeting Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder

Up next was Tiana and Naveen

The fireworks were just so pretty!

Love this of Conor and Michael

We were going to stay and watch the second parade at 10:30pm and we found a really great seat right on main street but we just didn't think that we could make it.

My middle buddy was the only one still going strong at 10pm

This was the crowd on the way out of the Magic Kingdom at 10:15pm. Yikes!  Definitely not the light crowds we had last year!

It was a fun Mickey's Very Christmas party
