Mulloy Disney Trip 2017 (part 1)

After Denton's wedding, we packed up and headed for Disney. It is a 4 hour drive from Captiva Island. We stopped halfway at Cracker Barrel for a little lunch break.

We pulled into the Orlando airport about 5 minutes before Nana's flight arrived. We couldn't have timed it more perfectly. Then we headed to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for a 4 night stay. The decorations for Christmas were absolutely gorgeous!

We had connecting rooms. One room had a queen bed with bunk beds and the other had two queen beds. Nana offered to sleep with the big boys, so she took the book room. The boys were really excited to share a room with Nana!

We had an amazing Savannah view room and it was so neat watching the animals right outside our balcony.

It was a gorgeous day outside, so we put on our swimsuits and headed to the pool.

After swimming we headed to Disney Springs.  We explored the Christmas Tree Trail.  Unfortunately, the wait for Santa was too long but we had fun looking at all of the fun trees.

We took a picture in front of each of the boys' favorite trees. Fantasia was Patrick's favorite tree.

The villain tree was Peyton's favorite

Then we headed to T-Rex for our dinner reservations. We only waited a few minutes for our table, but the boys had fun digging in their play area while we waited.

After dinner we decided to order the Chocolate Explosion. The boys were nervous at first and said they didn't want to eat fire :) But after the smoke went away, they dug into the ice cream and chocolate brownie. It was yummy!

Sweet Conor was terrified of the smoke

After dinner we headed back to Animal Kingdom Lodge so we could start our first park day bright and early at the Magic Kingdom!
